At the XXI APA Congress, GFS had the chance to present the results of work carried out in partnership with UNIMAR (Universidade de Marília) and Socel Distribuidora de Produtos Veterinários.

The study evaluated the effects of replacing dicalcium phosphate and meat and bone meal with Grow&Lay in laying hens over 12 months. Hens that received only Grow&Lay (our P and Ca ion emulsifier, which increases the absorption of these minerals from plant sources) performed the same as hens supplemented with traditional P and Ca sources!

This shows that including Grow&Lay reduced the need for supplemental phosphorus sources without compromising productivity, egg quality or the bone integrity of the laying hens.
