GFS’s new plant opening draws attention from media across the country
The opening of GFS’s new manufacturing unit in Apucarana, Paraná, received coverage from national, regional and local outlets. The attention reflects the market’s interest in the technology developed by the company and in the R$ 55 million investment that raised Poligrow® production capacity from 300 to 4,500 metric tons per month.
The reports highlighted different angles of the investment. Globo Rural, CNN Brasil, Estadão (through its Broadcast Agro column) and Gazeta do Povo focused on the technology’s environmental impact, which reduces phosphate mining and, with it, the CO2 emissions associated with extraction. Safras & Mercado and O Presente Rural, leading agribusiness publications, emphasized the expanded production capacity and progress in the natural fiber line for swine production.
Regional and local outlets also followed the event. Jornal Repórter do Vale, Apucarana News, Encontra Apucarana, Conversa de Colono, TN Online, ContilNet Notícias, CBN Maringá, Folha de Londrina, aRede and O Maringá reported the details of the opening, with emphasis on job creation and on Apucarana’s role as the company’s logistics hub, as presented by Fernando Blini, CEO of GFS.
